Fuel line replacement

Upgrading my fuel lines from the original 5/16 to 3/8 since I need to replace them anyways. Is there any reason to keep the old one there as maybe a return line? Just thought I'd check before I tore it up getting it out of the way.

could be used as a return line depending what you plane to do

If it is original I would turf it. The last thing you would want is to return rust into the tank or spring a fuel leak.

That's a great point. The whole reason I'm replacing everything is because it sat with old gas in it. Thanks guys!
