Does a 340 and a 440 take the same fuel pump?

The "A" block (small block) and the "B/RB" (big block) use a different fuel pump.

Trouble with the Charger already?  RB/B use a push rod that wears down .....

I didn't think so. In the extra parts there is a new, still in the box, fuel pump. It would have been sweet if it would work on either of my cars.
