When you park, what gear do you leave your 833 in? One of those things I never really think about so curious if one gear is better than another for any reason

70Barracuda

Sniper, 493/383, Firmfeel, RMS Streetlynx, Speedhut. Dana, 4 gear.

Chryco Psycho

1st or Reverse both have the both have a very high numerical ratio so the engine would have to turn over numerous times / tire revolution  In 70 the column lockout would only allow you to remove the key in reverse when it was connected .

First is typically the lowest gear ratio and therefore requires more effort for the wheels to turn the motor over.

Try to remember to put it in reverse but sometimes forget and leave it in 1st.  Those two have the highest gears so take the most effort for the car to roll, and reverse too in case you are hit in the rear while parked.

I have a habit of putting it in first when parked, even if it did roll it would be pretty dang slow.
