I've collected a number of 8 3/4 and Dana 60 rear ends and parts.

Some complete and some just housings with axles.

I'm looking for the best way to store them inside my garage out of the way.

Does anyone have a clever way?

Pics if you have them.

Thanks, 8)

I have an idea that will help with the space. Sell me an 8 3/4 housing.
Free up some space.  :slapme5:

You could build a wall rack with pegs every 18 " like a weight bench or build a vertical rack like a lamp & hang them

You could buy cars to attach them to... storage problem solved.

Cut them up so they stack easier.  :stop:
Melt them down to a single nugget. :stop:

Build a simple rack or bars that stick out from wall enough.
Then stand them all on end. Secure from toppling with a series of bars clamped or bolted to the wall bars.
Picture the 2 metal bar rails they hang wine glasses upside down with.
All their weight remains on floor. Rack only contains them from toppling.

I have one under a bench laying down like what you have. But I have another standing on end. THat seems to be the smallest foot print if you have a little corner or gap between other things.  Now watch, somebody will tell me I've destroyed my rear end by stand it on end. Oh I hope not. LOL  :'(

Not saying my "go to" plans with rear ends.

Some Burly U clamps and bolt them onto the Wall. Garage Art.
