Greetings all,
Looking for advice as I prepare to possibly add a new fuel pump to my fresh build original 440. The one that was on it is definitely a replacement. I lean towards original appearance, not setting any land speed records, and would really rather not burn the car to the ground. In the pics is the one that @MoparDave has listed at Roseville (see link). Also pictured is the one that appears to be in my stockpile (assembled with multiple screws) and about 4x the price. Not knowing how to test one of these, I lean towards replacement with OEM appearance, as long as unnecessary risks are eliminated. All feedback appreciated.

You can see from this Roger Gibson 440 detailing picture that neither of your pictures is correct if you want to go stock. The fuel pump outlet and inlets are different.
