Hi all. I have an old Edlebrock (LD340?) manifold from the late 80s that I don't think is all that great. I'm thinking of upgrading soon and not sure which I should consider. I think there is an Edlebrock performer or maybe a torquer manifold? I am also interested in some Weiand or others that might be worth looking into. I would think a modern intake would take advantage of 50 years of design and testing, but is that the case? Any thoughts on what to keep an eye out for?

I have a 340 stroked with a slightly hot cam, nothing crazy. I am looking for a fun streetable car with occasional track use. Probably a dual plane. It's got an Automatic and will have an 8 3/4 with 3.55 gears. Will upgrade the 14" tires probably to 17".

Airgap might be a bit better than the LD340, the other ones you are considering would be worse. If it were mine I'd just stick with the LD340. It might be old but it's still a great manifold.
