I've been buying Wix and now it looks like Napa might be even a better choice.

I never use Fram.  I'm a Mobil 1 or Purolator Pure 1 user.

Saw a video of a fram filter being cut up 10 years and have yet since to touch them.

NAPA filters are made by Wix.  Those 2 brands are about the only filters I use anymore.

In the video, he claims the Napa is a little better than the Wix.

NAPA filters are made by Wix, so it's hard to imagine there is much difference internally between the ones that say Wix, and the ones that say NAPA gold or Napa silver.  Regardless, I have no concerns about using either brands on my car.  :bigthumb:
For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure the repro Mopar filters Herbs sells are Wix also.

Fleetguard, Donaldson, WIX, NAPA Gold, Amzoil.

The brands I stick with.  :wrenching:

I've always used NAPA Gold on my cars. An old, grumpy mechanic told me not to mess with anything else. I listened to him.
