oil on manifold

You guys are really good at this. Even though I couldn't see it I did find some oil from one of the intake manifold bolts when using my finger. I will pull them and put some rtv on them.  Dang, you guys are good.

I think this has happened to most of us, so I would chalk it up to experience.

I BET the bolt closest to the pen cap in the picture was your culprit right?you can see it was barely seeping a little oil  of that bolt,glad you found the problem.

Wrong.

It was actually leaking on the other end of the pen.  Gravity took its course and oil was heading towards the firewall and puddling up at the other end of intake.
