I'm looking for guidance on whether I've got the oil filter adapter mounted in the correct position or if it needs to be rotated.   As it sits now, there would be a downward tilt to the oil filter.

Also, what's the right torque for the hollow bolt that goes through the adapter plate into the block?   One post I found elsewhere indicated 50 ft-lbs, but I'd appreciate confirmation or a correction.

Thanks!

Looks good, that's where mine is located. I saw 50 ft lbs some where, don't do it. To tight and it leaked after the gasket got smashed. I am sorry I forget the correct torque, but you can go by feel.

FWIW, I set the angle of mine finally once I had the headers on, so that I could avoid any interference. Finding a 1 5/16" socket wasn't that easy either. Good luck!
