Saw this and not sure what to think yet. I'm sure they'll start with Chevy then branch out to other brands or make a kit. Who knows but I don't know it's kind of cool but 25,000-35,000? Still not sure how I feel about it

Why the heck would anyone wanna do that to their classic muscle car?

Wanna waste $25~$35 geez on an EV... go buy a Prius.

:dunno:

I'd buy a Hemi first but that aside what would you do for batteries and where would they go?

I live in ca so I'm sure this will come Val sooner or later. In ca maybe that's the only way we'll be able to drive vintage cats one day, I hope not but yeah it's a game changer for sure

And they are going to sell you an audio system for muscle car rumble as an option. Another option for the smell of unburned gasoline to complete the transformation.

I would be more interested in electric assist to kick some Tesla butts from a dig.

It's called progress like it or not.  :o
I'm sure the guys on horses talked badly about the first model T but ultimately our horses are our gas cars and now we're talking badly about electric cars.
Soon our electric cars will be running with another kind of system which we will complain about also.
Well not us but the future generations. 🤣

It's REVOLT-ing alright! As for the alluding to the horse/car thing, horses never really went away and it's a cast iron bitch to try to jump your Tesla over a rail I can tell you.  :Stirring:

What are you talking about! We get things done up here in Barrie! Nothing speed and distance can't overcome! :haha:
This is about 5 minutes from my doorstep.

Is it just me, or does that frame freeze make that Tesla look like Buck Rogers's latest car? LOL Jesus, that was a disaster waiting to happen! Glad to hear nobody got badly hurt there Brad, but I think the flying car gauntlet has been thrown-see how I did that :D- down and you'll have your work cut out for you with the old Chally!

In my opinion in the near future as EVs will become more widespread the gap in price between pony/muscle cars with smaller engine and pony/muscle car with more desirable engines will decrease.
Two reasons for that:

1 some car owners would not pay much attention to the engine as they will replace it anyway with an electric powerplant
2 cars with even an Hemi or a Pontiac SD by modern standards are no longer very fast, this will render the performance appeal less and less interesting on the more performances oriented models

Having said that I am still looking for a 70 Challenger with a 440 or a Trans Am with a 455
