I'd wait. I've agonized for years on lockers and limited slip rear ends. When they work... awesum.. when not I know too many people ready to remove hair from head. Of all the solutions the Truetrack has always been the most appealing to me.  :alan2cents:

He doesn't use the true trac any longer. From his website: Due to inconsistent quality issues, I no longer carry the 8.75" True Trac.  Please consider the 6 helical gear Sure-Trac

^^^ LOL.. that's the same link I posted at the top of the page.

Drdiff still offers a "sure track"

8 3/4" Helical Gear Sure-Grip ("Sure-Trac")
https://www.doctordiff.com/8-3-4-helical-gear-sure-grip-sure-trac.html

QuoteDoctorDiff Sure-Trac is a fully machined, forged steel 8.75" differential which operates similar to an Eaton True-Trac.

The Sure-Trac incorporates 6 helical (worm) gears instead of 4 for maximum strength and smooth, quiet operation.

Use conventional 85 W 140, GL-5 grade gear lube. Friction modifier additive is not necessary.

Same performance, no issues or maintenance... looks like a winner to me.
