Sb 727 kick down

So the clip that holds part of the kick down linkage broke and separated the rods on the linkage.  Posted in parts wanted section with pics, but would it be simpler and/or easier to install a lobar cable? If so what other brackets/parts would I need and still keep the Orem type throttle cable.  Pics/ suggestions and any info would be greatly appreciated

I used Bochullion Performance kick down cable system with brackets. Factory replacement throttle cable from Roseville. Only one I found that is true stock length and look stock.

7212 thanks,  I just recently replaced the throttle cable so I'm good there.  Do you have part numbers or any info on the bochullion cable system?  I also thought I could make a new clip by using a binder clip ( spring steel) and working it to fit tightly around the socket piece of the vertical rod .  Just a thought and I'm always up for re-engineering stuff
