Sorry we got so many separate threads about the topic going. LOL. I had (have) an A/C equipped small block and trying to set it up without A/C. I ended up buying some new pulleys and now trying to figure out the best way to set it up. I have two water pump pulleys, one shallow and one deeper that I can change the routing. The shallow pulley allows me to have the water pump and PS on the outer crank pulley, and the alt going to the inner crank groovy. The deeper one allows me to put the PS on the outer crank, and the alt and water pump on the inside groove of the crank pulley.

Any thoughts on which is better, or are they both wrong. :o

Mr Cuda

Yeah, they are both wrong.
You were doing good when ygot pulleys to delete the a/c.
But to add it back in you need a double belt set from crank , alternator,  and a/c pump.
Water ounp is run with PS.

Actually I just have the AC unit on there temporary as I was trying to figure everything out and to get some pics to another member on a related post. I do have the 3 groove pulley, but I switched it to a two groove so it will work without A/C. Just ignore the A/C compressor on top. LOL.

Mr Cuda

Then deep water pump pulley to alternator,  and power steering to crank .
But you will need the correct alternator brackets.
