I need new spark plug wires for my 383.  The engine is a mild street build. It currently has headers but I don't know how much of a factor that really is.  I want something that is good quality, and easy to install (ie., doesn't have to be tailored and the lengths are close to "correct").

I like what I've read about the FireCore wires but not sure how to decide between the 7 mm and 8.5 mm.  The price of the 8.5 mm might be a little steep for what I need but I can probably tolerate it if it makes my life easier.  The 7 mm are half the price but the website says 440 not 383, is there a real difference in fit?

It seemed like some here also like Davis Unified wires.  Anything else I should consider?  Thanks.

I've used the Firecore 8.5mm and they worked great.  I'm sure there are other good ones out there.
