Timing cover is this normal?

My timing cover appears to have cracks inside but they weren't leaking. Anyone seen this before? Or is this normal? The area between the center bolt holes

Normal... Not exactly a high quality casting....

Normal. They aren't cracks either. It's just normal surface characteristics of those castings.
