The relationship between the center of your fan and the center of your rad looks weird...roughly the centers, you would think, would line up...obviously your rad looks really low compared to the fan   very odd

Because this is a trial, just hack a sheetmetal one together. Can be extremely ugly. Rivets or even peck screws to hold pieces together.
Just needs to prove a function.

On a side note....
That belt alignment with pully appears way off.

I'm thinking it's the photo? Because the engine looks tilted back too much to me as well. Should be 4* and looks 10*

Now now gents lets stay on topic...!!! :)

Actually, when I did the trans rebuild / install I went over the engine angle...it is at 3 degrees down as I recall.  I actually had to shim the trans mount to get it that high.

Well crap.

Went out the garage today, been under the weather all week, and i was greated with a puddle emeging from the garage door.

Yep antifreeze. Looks like it coming from the bottom of the water pump.

Well one more thing I need to fix.

Bummer to hear/see. My optimistic mind tells me that if wp is close to failing like that there is also a chance the bearings are bad, to which will allow wobbling and potentially poor performance...

You'll have to determine if it's leaking from the gasket or the bearing. If you need a new pump let me know. I'm going to order one and a fuel pump for spares and I can bring one for you and save you some shipping.

I am assuming that it is the gasket, because the water pump is new...maybe 2 years old. But yea I guess the pump could fail.

I will look into over the winter, not much motivation right now.

Nice day here today, so I spent some time cleaning my garage and getting the car up for the winter.

Figured I would pull the fan and pulley and try to find my leak.

I did... :headbang:  its the pump. Good lord this thing is pissing me off.

Pic is from under the pump and you can see the leak from the plug. They really dont make things like the used to, pump may be 4 years old.
