Tuff Stuff Alternators? 130A alternatives?

Bought a Powermaster 95A alternator when I got the Challenger just over a year ago because the one on it was dead. Miracle I made the 80 miles home on battery alone as it needed to be replaced as well. 

Did not realize at the time the dual Spal fans on the radiator alone pull down somewhere in the neighborhood of 70A. Like to get a higher rated alternator so I'm not near max every time the fans come on. Shopping on Summit and it looks like the only other game in town to get up to 130A in a square back externally regulated dual pulley unit is Tuff Stuff. Never heard of them and the reviews are mixed... some complain of whine under load. Anyone out there heard of them or recommend another unit? Linky dinky to the 130A:

I just bought the 100A tuff stuff double pulley in natural case.
Haven't installed it yet.

If it doesn't perform, I may go this route next.

I have installed 3 of these Tuff Stuff alternators and they have been great. I can't remember how many amp they are. This one is 3 years old and doing fine. Non of the cars I have put them on require big power such as cooling and A/C. I like the single pulley and natural finish.

^^^ Thanks both for your replies! Pickens are pretty thin unless you want to convert to a 1 wire setup.

BTW Shane.. great looking engine compartment you have there. One of these days I need to  get off my backside and make a custom set of plug wires instead of just letting the excess flop about..

Just thought I'd mention what I used . Also using it on my Javelin project. I also have one for a spare. Using the same alternator on both cars allows  me to only need one spare for both cars. The one on the Challenger has worked great for 5-8? years now( can't remember exactly how long now...) with no issues.

Forgot to mention that I got the 3 wire setup vs the one wire.

I'll be installing mine on an AC car with crackedback's ammeter bypass wire and headlight relays.
I figured now would be a good time to do the upgrade as I'm adding a Holley Sniper and electric fuel pump.

I have a newer (Painless) harness, have bypassed the ammeter and have installed a 6GA wire with a fusible link (courtesy of forum member crackedback) from the alternator to the starter relay. Would not recommend putting more amps through the stock harness without some modifications. Stock alternator was rated at what.. 45 amps?

You will need to do the ammeter bypass wire setup.

Just the natural finish I think? Its been awhile...
I also did the ammeter bypass and ran a heavy wire from alternator to battery.

Just took these just now. Forgive the dirty engine bay, I haven't had it out yet this season.
It appears it is the chrome finish
