What sealer for water jacket threads?

Changing my water pump..... what sealer do you all use on the bolt threads? TIA

Permatex makes a range of thread sealants for a variety of applications, in another variety of sizes. Failing that, go to your local plumbing supply store and tell them what you want to seal. Good luck!

Permatex Thread Sealant I think is the sealant of choice.  Look up part number 80632.  Good luck.

Hylomar is good stuff and it does not harden up.  Even good old #2 Permatex; used for decades does the job.
