How to Post a Video in a thread

You might have noticed several members postings videos on the forum and the video plays without having to leave the site.  It's super easy to do so I thought I would share few ways to make Videos show up in your posts:

Option #1 YouTube

~Find the video you want to share on YouTube and click the Share tab.  That drops down a link that you "copy" (Ctrl C) on the keyboard.

~The click the "YouTube" icon above the smileys.

~Paste the link between the boxes [ youtube ] PASTE LINK HERE [ / youtube ]  (but don't use any spaces.

You can also host and post a Video from the "Gallery" on this site. 

Option #2 Gallery Video

~Click "Gallery" tab in the header bar.

~Select "Add Video"

~Upload Video from your computer, tablet or Phone

~Right hand mouse click and "Copy Video Location"

~Click the "Gallery Video" icon above the smileys and paste the link.

Facebook Videos work too.

~Right hand mouse click the video in Facebook and select "Show Video URL".  Copy the URL

~Click the "Facebook" icon above the smileys and paste the URL.


Sometimes the people who posted the videos on Facebook have their settings to private or only friends.  In those cases the videos might not be seen be everyone.

Thanks for putting the "How To" about the different videos. I did one yesterday and found it fairly easy and the site is just great for maneuvering around and for sharing!
