@Cuda Cody Where does the mentions show up? I have a bell at the top that showed 1 and it was that Dakota liked one of my posts. Is that where mentions shows up also?

@blown motor  Yes, that is where it should show up.  And I think it emails you too.  But we'll get the site updated with the newer look and things will be back to more like we had before.  This look (theme) is not the final theme.  We just needed to get the site back up and running on the new dedicated server so we can run tests and see if the speed issue was solved.  Which it appears to be fixed!

@Jay Bee  It's beyond frustrating.  Everything was working great and now it's running like crap.  Huge delays.  Nothing has changed with the software so it's gotta be the hosting company!

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the google ads?  I'm not seeing any of the google ads right now and the sites is running slow.  They keep giving me shit to remove a few topics that they don't like.  Wonder if they are causing the issue?  It seems to be ad related?

I surf another site "All Metal Shaping" and it has the same delay issue as occurs here and started same time.

I'm guessing a common host problem.

If getting rid of "Sugar and Spice" will ensure a reliable forum I'm all for it. Sure, I'll miss it too but it's not the be all and end all to this site. What good is checking out babes if you can't even get onto the forum. Maybe have a poll/referendum to get a consensus.

Is there a way to remove & save that thread somewhere and re-install if removing it doesn't fix the problem? I don't know but something needs to be done to this place.

Earlier this morning I tried posting twice and got the unresponsive screen. I ended up PMing (who I thought was the same guy) on another forum
