So what's the best way to bend a wrench?
Would a butane torch get it hot enough?

I think I've got one or two- from my dad and grandfather's collections, but you Chris, are the undisputed champ in the weird tools arena! As a sidebar, it looks like this is keeping you out of trouble? I was thinking of you last night when son Nick asked about the bottle of Diplomatico? that I bought after your kindly providing a sample. Cheers!  :drinkingbud:

I dont think that would be hot enough. My torches were propane, gets things cherry real easy. Then hammer , bend, twist as needed. A good shop vise helps too

Weird tools is right. Most I honestly dont remember the job that had the "need". But I learned to keep no name/el cheapo stuff around just for custom tool making.
Diplimatico is still my go to. But I recently had some vintage Plantation that was very tasty. I'm sure you would approve!

Oh yeah: Latest one was cutting off a wrench and welding a screwdriver to it to 1/32 turn out a blind bolt on the BBK headers on my Cram 1500. One of the reasons I always pick up used tools when I see them cheap or free.
You can usually spend way less time fabbing up a special wrench than the time you waste fighting a situation too.
