 Earl Scheib offered a $29.95 paint job in the 1960s. I actually had a neighbor who got one. It looked like a $29.95 paint job.

Late 60's no less... And yeah it wasn't a quality job.... But according to Goggle a 1969 dollar is worth about $7 today...  That means an Earl Scheib any car any color paint job should cost about $210 today...  Well, currently they have a sign out front of the local shop for $249.... So what car do you want painted....

Interesting I was going to say that back in the day, a lot of people didn't care about matching rims so much, they just want big fat tires...
