Not sure on that?  Can anyone read the plate on this Cuda.
The ad for Crager wheels; probably staged for the ad.  Could have been taken at a real drag strip.
Yes, it's the same car (VIN...), and no, pic was not staged, actual vintage pic from 1970-71

I have pictures of the 68 500 also taken at Chelsea Proving grounds IIRC
Supposedly a test mule for the 69 run

1981 or so. Matching #'s 383 out, 426H in, Chrome was in vogue in that era as well. Great time to own an E'body, no trailers then and you didn't lose your car if caught street racing.
No cowl blackout on this original FM3 underhood paint, and the 22 inch rad cooled the monster just fine.

Ha, ha, real life. I remember driving my 71 R/T in January one year. 100 miles each way to work, good thing the car was rusty already.

On the flip side, mine was still dd when taking it to get married in Vegas 1984. 100+ degrees and no air on a ~600 mile round trip. Still married to her so must have not been that bad.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.

I've always liked that pic of the '71 Challenger with the matching Schwinn Stingray bike on the back ...  :bigthumb:
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)
