Yep, and at 17 and a half, I was also probably getting in my '58 Dodge to catch up with some buds for a sneaked beer or two. Funnily enough, we also got a colour TV in 1969, but only got 2 channels- CKNX in Wingham and CKCO in Kitchener and you had to get off your ass to go to the TV to change the channel! Boy, how the world has changed since then, eh? 
PS- did anyone else catch the Daytona parked in that commercial?

Life was great back then. Cell phones were the biggest turning point to screwing things up I think.

Cell phones have not only changed the social norm but the way business works also. I'm not saying it's worse than it was but it certainly is different.

Computers (cell phones included) , they are your best friend and worst enemy..... all in the same day
