Just plastics or ...?
Mostly plastic variants. Most common is pla, I used something called petg for my dash and this cams also print abs and some flexible materiel as well.  I haven't experimented with the flexible
Stuff yet but will soon

So I did a little work to the dash this weekend. Happy so far with how it turned out.  The switch panel

Things like this will help so much for all the previous unobtainium pieces.

I've been saying for years that 3d printing will revolutionize restorations. those small parts no one wants to reproduce? 3d printing makes it MUCH more cost effective.

another piece we all need: 1970 Emergency Flasher pull knob - all the repro units use the wrong '71-74 pull knob. easily reproduced with 3d printing and Cody has already shown it's semi-easy to disassemble a repro and replace that knob.

If someone has that 70 knob they would be willing to temporarily loan. I would produce a proper 3D model for the world to have.
Another item I have been wanting to 3D model is the unobtainable a/c vents.
I use Solidworks extensively for work.

A/c vents would be a great one to work on

Yes, just cannot spend the coin to purchase some for the designing file.

Not as cool as @Grimmey71 's bezels, but I designed some chocks for my jack to keep in the trunk of my car. I used to keep it in the box the jack came in but as we all know, space is at a premium in E-bodies. The front "wheel" of the HF jack is just a roller, so I designed a piece that snaps on and stops it from rolling. The rear design is a little more crude, just being a box that the wheels sit in and can't roll. Took it for a solid drive and didn't move at all when I got home.
