@Dmz73 About the battery, I said I'd bring one that I have here but I think that instead of using one that's a few years old and a bit on the small side I'll buy her a new one. That way she shouldn't have to worry about it for a long time. We'll grab one in Chelsea and then if she has premature trouble with it it'll be handy for her to take back.

What's the recommended CCA?

As a note, he's got a pro form 850 carb, and from what I understand his engine is pretty well built/ how much, I don't know.

Further to Neil and I talking the other night, I thought I'd bring my Rigid tube bender, a steel line flare kit and a multi-meter. We were under the impression that either Dan or Cathy had sufficient hand tools there; no? Anything else anyone can think we should bring? Besides a bottle opener, of course! Wonder what Barq's and real beer would taste like? Hmmm....

If you have some Holley tuning parts & gaskets that may help , proform tends to be close out of the box but there is always more in it

Just sent Neil a message seeing if we could meet at my house at 7 or 8 to try to get a head start on this quest.  We'll see; Murray's a farmer and is used to getting up at O dark oclock and I'll try to drag my lazy arse out of the sack earlier, too. Question- where are we working? Is it sheltered, powered and tool equipped? What do you need us to bring?

@jimynick  I talked to Dan today. The car is on stands in the garage. We need to get under body stuff and rear brakes done so we can put it back down on the ground. Then roll it outside where there's more room and better light to work. I'll bring my Dewalt kit. Oh, and my GoPro.  There's lots of tools.
