Out here in sunny SoCal the weather has been needless to say out of the ordinary. So between rain storms has proven to be a real pause for reflection. The two pics I'm posting were taken in two different locations to stop for a moment and reflect. Hope you like these I sure did. One shows a pic of one of the Air Force planes out at March AFB with the snow level dropped considerably low on Mt. San Jacinto in background the other is The Riverside National Cemetary (which will probably be my future home), with the same Mt. San Jacinto in the background. Both shots were taken not far from where I live in the Inland Empire area of SoCal. Enjoy,  Thanks,   Al

Great pics!   The mountains sure look different.

Thank you buddy,  had to post them with the laps in the storms here. It's strange to see the snow elevation drop. I here on news another storm next week will drop more of the white stuff. Not like the snow you guys get in Colorado but best we can do. I'm surrounded by the coast range here with Mt. San Jacinto at 10K feet and Mt. San Antonio at 10K feet and to the west of me Mt. Modjeska at 5K feet.
Mt. San Gorgonio is the highest with 11K feet. Not like the Rockies. Glad you like the pics hope the others liked 'em too. The nation seems to be under siege weather wise. Thanks,   Al

That sure is a sight that isn't seen often.  Cool pic!

Your mountains are just as majestic as ours.
Our mountains rise out of about 4000 foot elevation so both of our mountains rise about the same amount. 10K give or take.

We have not had much of a storm at all out of this.  Just another day in the rockies.

Equally majestic.
