Ever been to Cambria?   Little town on California's central coast between Pismo & San Simeon... The towns people wouldn't allow any cell towers to be built anywhere nearby, not even one of those fake trees in their forests...  For years if you drove down by Moonstone beach you'd see 20-30 people all down in a parking lot.... The only place in town with cell reception.... Eventually the towns church allowed the cell companies to lift the steeple off the church, install a few antennas then reinstall the steeple....

Yup, we've been to Cambria, on our way to Pismo.
My sister took this picture early Monday morning. Hard to see, your looking towards her back fence which is a little below the hilltop obviously flames on the other side of hill.

Supposed to get windy up there again today.   :bricks:

Looking like PG & E didn't keep lines cleared from vegetation well enough.  :foul:

Downed lines were the cause is what is being said on the news.

Unbelievable, it now looks like PG&E is at least partially to blame based on reports when the fire got started. Investigators are still at it.

Would I be wrong to think it should be entirely their responsibility to maintain? Lake county had a pretty good size fire a few years ago, if I remember right traced back to power lines.

PG&E stock price is taking a nose dive the few days. You might still want to wait a little longer though before making a move.

Maybe buy on the way down as to not miss the bottom, kinda like averaging

Mom and sisters houses made it, apperntly a couple of ranchers disked around their neighborhood. Refusing to take any money for fuel. One was a Marine who got his hair singed! Wow what good people, amazing!  :bigthumb: still pretty smokey
