@Spikedog08 , that's a great pic of your Cuda from back in the day.  That thing looks Bad A$$ in black and with those Keystones.  4 speed car?  Wish I was driving that thing in high school.

There's 2 reasons why I like this thread so much. 1- Jason's car and it's various adventures and 2: I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in the Long Time Owning and Long Time Not Driving Club! Near as far as I can recollect, I got mine in '82 or '83 and it didn't hit the road again until 2016. I feel your respective pain. 

Yeah, jobs, kids, houses and life in general have a way of taking priority in our lives.  I'm just grateful to have been able to hold on to mine as long as I have.  Sometimes progress seems to move forward at a glacial pace, but at least its still progress.  My car is in a little better shape with ever year that passes.  Just happy to be driving it, and still love working on it every chance I get.

As I told a guy with a very nice 70 Cuda a few years back when he first saw my ratty car, "You're just jealous because you've got nothing left to do on your car."

Yes it is a 4 speed car .. original black.  When I bought it, seller said that those rims were the best look for the car . . I agree they give it a great Look but I wanted cragers as I love that look!

Been 30 years for me this April. I picked the car up not long after I turned 16.
My Challenger has also attended my HS graduation and wedding.
