I'm considering making my shop feel like a Chrysler dealership from how I remember them car shopping with my dad when I was a kid in the mid 70's.
The local dealership where we bought a lot of our vehicles was a blue and white Chrysler dealership, but we bought Dodge vehicles there.
So this got me thinking; would a Chrysler/Plymouth (blue and white) dealership have sold Dodge's as well, or am I remembering that wrong?
As we all know Dodge dealerships in the day were red and white.
Any clarification on this would be appreciated!

there were dealerships that had a single or multiple franchises: Chrysler - Plymouth - Imperial - Dodge - Dodge Truck
& their color schemes reflected that

estimates as of January 1975  :crying: NO Chrysler only dealerships & 105 stand-alone Plymouth dealerships left .....

Does anyone know of a good source on old dealerships so that I can get some design ideas?

In the 70s in Canada, Chrysler Plymouth stores were predominantly white with corporate blue trim and signage. Chrysler Dodge stores were predominantly white with red trim and signage.
CP stores sold Dodge trucks after 1972. Fargo was dropped.

You need one of these Plymouth service signs then. Found them on Facebook marketplace.

A bit of a drive for you though. The ad has been up a while. I bet he would take $600 by now. If I wasn't moving cross country in two years, I'd grab one myself.

I worked at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealership in the mid 70's. Our signs were Blue and White like the ones 70 Challenger Lover has posted.
