Floor with a 4 speed hump

Just curious whether the factory manufactured four speed floors and automatic floors or whether they manufactured a standard floor and cut the floor for a 4 speed hump or auto?

After working 18 years in a stamping facility, I would assume the floor pans were all made on the same press line, with an addition shearing press added to the process to punch out the two hole required for a manual transmission floor.
