A buddy and I used to terrorize the streets around here in a '79 WarlockII. 360. Fast truck for the time. We beat most vehicles. There was a black '71 426 R/T Challenger, an orange '74 383 'cuda and a silver 70 LS6 Chevelle that could put us in our place though.

Here's a 2-lamp core not far from you, $50 asking price.

It could be metal-finished and sent out for a fresh Brite-Dip (there are a few places in the GTA that do it)

@YYZ Thanks for the tip. If I'm going to send it out I could just send the one on the truck now.

I've used Brimac before (a long time ago)

I've heard good things about Progressive out in Scarborough, but have no direct experience with them.

It's likely that there is a shop in the K-W area as well, which would be a shorter drive from 23 & 9

@blown motor Check out DNR Metal right there in Waterloo, let me know....I just heard of them, but haven't used them yet.

I found Latem Industries in Cambridge as well. In business for 43 years. This can wait until winter. Until then it's drive time. Thanks guys.

I was texting with the guy I bought the truck from today and he has a spare grille and a few other parts he's going to give me.  I don't know what condition the grille is in but at the very least it will be wall art.

Murray, you old rascal you! Good thing your man-cave has some room left, eh? What's next? You've got an E body and a B body, so how about a nice, 340 A body? I'm now turning a lovely shade of green, with envy. I can't wait to see it!  :bigthumb:

What's next? How about a late 70s Street Van shaggin' wagon?  :haha:
