Appropriate music for the period

My very first 8-track was Chase's "Chase" album... Songs like "Open Up Wide" and "Handbags and Gladrags", not to mention "Boys and Girsl Together"... <sigh>

Another favorite was "Inna Gadda Da Vida", long version, by Iron Butterfly... released earlier, but did not catch it till early 70,s
