Like I mentioned earlier Cancer, I read elsewhere that it was brain cancer... Whatever the case another of the really talented Mopar guys is gone... And it's a damn shame.... RIP Dave..

I met Dave briefly when he was introducing his new product at SEMA: Rust Prevention Magic. Bought some then and said thanks.

We didn't talk any, but I'm sad to hear we lost a legend in the Mopar Restoration family.

RIP Dave.

Cancer certainty doesn't discriminate ...doesn't matter how you live your life or how much money you have....you can't buy a cure... :vipermanhiding:

No truer statement than that ... unfortunately
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

I just received my first ever order from ECS. The products are exceptional. I hope without Dave at the helm they continue to create quality products and support the hobby. So often the leaders of these companies fade away over time and the companies change course.

That is really sad news for the Hobby.
Someday I will have a J0b.

After Owen passed away, Dave sent me a heart felt PM on CC.com.  He talked about how it hurt to lose his father but how relieved he felt that his dad wasn't suffering any more.  He thought that maybe that's how I was feeling at the time.  It's crazy to think that Dave and Owen died from the same horrible disease.  :(

Just got this Email from ECS:
ECS honors our Founder and President David Walden who passed away at 58 on July 5, 2019. David was a lifelong car enthusiast who turned his passion into our company, ECS Automotive Concepts. We will remember his love for life, his unwavering attention to detail and his desire to help the restoration market with assembly line correct products. The team that David assembled at ECS will continue his vision but with heavy hearts.

If you are at the Chrysler Nationals please stop by our booth to say hello to the team. J154.

I'm glad they're going to still be at Carlisle. :andyangel:
