This might be old news, but I just watched the episode tonight on TV.
I don't get the Velocity channel, but this week is a free preview week and of course all the shows are old.....

But I couldn't believe my eyes....First when "Gas Monkey Garage" had a 1970 Super Bee monster truck.....How cool is that.... :ohyeah:

But then they jump onto a new Hellcat :stop:   :crazytalk:

Did anybody else see this ? I'm sure the video is out there too :console:

I think that was the prototype they pulled the engine out of to swap it in to another project.  Since Dodge was going to crush it anyways I think they let Gas Monkey do it.  Sucks they ruined a cool piece of history.   :crying:

Yea...That's the exact story they told....but why not at least strip it of parts..... :looney:

Without donors, survivors would not be as plentiful.  :toast:

Kind of sucks that they have to crush the prototype . . .
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Yeah and they do it every time.

No official VIN/VON or official drive-able documentation is why I think they do it.
