Finally heading to VA for a few days.

Going down to Roanoke area this Saturday the 13th and staying till the the 15th or 16th. We had a family trip planned last spring but had to cancel and this will be just myself going so the kid doesn`t miss any school. The main purpose is to check out the area and look at homes for a possible future move and the bonus is I get to escape New England in the middle of winter. Anyone know of things to do/ see while I`m there, I know it`s off season for car shows and tourist stuff?
