Hard to believe they tried to play records in a moving car !! But they did !!

How about the DeSoto Adventurer with the 341 Hemi's
They even offered fuel injection for three years (did not work real well though)
Front end design looked pretty modern and restrained for a late 50's car.

In that same mid-50's era. How "rare" is this!
The Dodge La Femme, made for only 1 year.

They designed it especially for lady buyers and was based on the Dodge Lancer.
it came with a special purse, they designed to accommodate makeup, a pack of cigarettes and a mirror. (obligatory contents of a lady's purse at the time)

Found this pic of the factory "tissue box" in the La Femme!  Have to love it.

They don't get much respect.

But I really dig them.  :wowzers:

My brother in Houston ran into one at a gas station all done up.

And here's the weird part:

The 70' Sport Fury was one of the Rapid Transit System.

That's a big Girl in the ring.

Wasn't there a guy on Mofarts that had three of them he was trying to sell ? A yellow one and two black ones ? (projects)

The owner of the B7 blue restored one, Dave Wheeler, was just here the other day....he was telling me how he bought his out of a NY junk yard for $85.00 :o
