This reminds me of my last trip to the DMV.

The guy in front of me couldn't speak English. An interpreter said he bought the car from a guy selling it along the side of the road. Of course, he had no receipt. What a $hit storm.

Hey Mike,

That story may be completely true, if the car he was talking about buying was a Yugo.

Be careful. Don't get caught drinking the Kool-Aid or believing the hype.

Maybe next time the battery is getting low they could put the generator in back and let it run. Problem solved plus extended range!

A.Gramz

I wonder how much range it gets out of 10$ of gas??

They'll need a tent and some more gear for the night or two. Maybe they should put a solar panel on the cars roof. Man where does this end :Thud:

YellowThumper

Anybody wonder how much diesel fuel is spent mining the ore used to mine and then make the batteries for these POS "green" cars? I would bet more than they save.

Let alone the massive land destruction they do. Only reason it is ignored is because it all comes from the poorest of 3rd world countries. They have their place in the world but are not the cure all.

Hydrogen fwiw.

And oh yea picture is hilarious.
I watched an impatient guy the other day in a parking structure waiting for his car to charge so he could leave. On the cell pacing looking at his watch over and over. Arms flailing. Family and I laughed as we got into our regular old commuter and left. Gets 35 mpg and no waiting. Not interested in timing my life for that.

Sorry for the rant...
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.
