Single car 10x20 for me.

Its what I have for now, so no sense bitching about it. I do have a very high ceiling so that helps it feel a bit bigger.

I have done quite a few upgrades over the years in there so I can make it work.

My secret is to only keep the essentials in the garage. Any yard equipment etc. and some of the non essential tools are in the 10x 15 shed out back. At this point I could use another shed!!!

A hoist might be the ticket for you Jason? You have the room, I'm envious!  They are not all that expensive these days. I have a contact that is in the business and often gets used ones much cheaper than new.

I have thought about a hoist. My guess is that the concrete floor would not be sufficient for the hoist. If  this were our final home I would do it, but we have plans to move in the next 5 years and that house will have a bigger garage.
1974 Cuda. 360 / A500 OD.  Yes its pink, no its not my wife's car!  Yes I drive it.

I have your typical 2.5 car garage.  The only bad thing about it is that there is a raised step on the floor (just outside the double garage door width) so that makes it tight parking two cars in it.  The wife won't even try parking her Jeep in it with the Cuda in there :)) Which isn't a bad thing if you know what I mean.  But that does mean both of our dailys are outside.

Currently exploring the idea of adding on to the existing garage..but that will be very pricey.  We'll see.

40x60, wood heat. Heavily insulated. I paid my dues. Single stall, no garage, renting garage etc.
Wow, this is really sweet.  Even have a hang out area around a fireplace.  Awesome.

In complete humility, I can reflect on the days and nights laying in the slush while parked at the curb. A couple jackstands (homemade) under one of my many e body daily drivers. Long hair soaked in transmission fluid leaking from the screen door known as a 904 or 727, hands and fingers numb. Setting the timing with mosquitoes eating me alive before heading off to cruise Main St in Peoria on a Friday or Saturday night in one of my 71 Challenger convertibles. Jerking an engine with a cable come along from a tree limb. I can remember the first person to allow me their garage, a single stall. I was rich. Then my first home bought in 1992. 3-1/2 stall detached. Heaven. I worked my way up. 9 e bodies later and I'm in a once packed pole barn that I've converted into the place of my dreams. Total humility and nothing but respect for anyone making due. My heart is still there.

I can relate...I've been restoring cars for 35 years, and got my first garage only 21 years ago...the first years were all done in my parents backyard and driveway...This 71 Cuda convertible made it into several magazines back in the day, and it was built in the driveway all year round...this shot was 1990....when it's freezing outside, you don't feel your skinned knuckles as much :brainiac:

I`m also gratefull to have a heated garage. When I bought my cuda in `82 it was running and driving (barely) but six months later the engine threw a couple rods so it was parked for a few years. After dragging it along to different places I lived I finally found a garage to rent to start tearing it down but it didn`t last long. I finished tearing it down in a driveway and had it blasted and then got it in primer back in the driveway with my Sears portable compressor spliced into the dryer outlet.  :unbelievable:  I was in heaven when I bought my first house in `92 with a two car garage so I could finally really dig into the restoration work and get it done.  The road runner pic is beside my parents house in 1980 when I was changing out the 727 for an A833 as it was an original 4 speed car but had the auto in it when I bought it. And yes that is snow on the ground.

Had Barn 2.0 on the left built a few months back to store the 5th wheel.  Just got done with the electric and epoxy floor.  I can get some of the tractor implements off the floor in Barn 1.0 which will help there.  Barn 1.0 is 40x60x14.  Barn 2.0 is 30x60x16.

Technically five bays - 3 bays for the grab-'n-go cars and diesel crew cab truck, 1 bay for the dbl. stacked hobby/show cars, 1 bay for the fifth wheel with an utility trailer/atv parked behind the fiver and 1 ping-pong table. In the past, I have actually added more space in that mix for a guest ride. Nice to keep them out of the possible summer hail storms.

I will add...

After watching the recent wildfires that consumed multiple homes in Boulder County (CO), I am now reviewing our insurance policies and considering "Thinning out the herd."

Narrow 2 car packed to the gills.
Make due as necessary. Have to pull 1 car out to pull the other. Made work table with C shaped legs designed to roll under car and hover over trunk lid.
Built a "shed" 7ft wide x 15 ft deep for mill, lathe and extra storage.
