We got our $2400.00 stimulus check direct deposited a few days ago. The disaster relief loan from the SBA...... Not a word yet.

I hate to admit it but I received my first full paycheck a few weeks ago when the company I work for got some of the small business "loan" money. Still have yet to get our tax refund so not looking for any other emergency money any time soon. Not sure if I really want it anyway.

I didn't qualify but got my taxes done this week and I owe the Feds and state a couple grand.
Work announced this week my pay is cut 15%, and my side job is grounded indefinitely.
Gotta love it.

My wife got a 10% pay cut while working 50% harder from home so I'll take every buck of my taxes back that I can get.

I'm happy some people got their "personal" checks. But I was really wondering more about small business getting anything whether it be disaster relief or PPP . I know many around me have applied for one or both. And nobody has got jack....   Ok 350 Mil, correct?  Somewhere it went......

First off we need a "bullshit" emoji    that would seem to fit the PPP program perfectly

And I do not find the info in that video surprising. One of my banks had many unrelated questions about existing loans and the such. So the video had many correlations to what I saw. I wont get into my personal situation here, but will say I only owe a bank for one thing and its unrelated to my shop. So I did not apply for PPP but know many that have. I laid my crew off... told then go collect unemployment for a few weeks. I've paid into that fund for over 35 years... I will never get a dime back out of that.

That being said, what ever happened with Economic Disaster Relief? This I did apply for.....           Or did I miss the memo on that one too?

I'm going to shake the magic 8 Ball here.  Repo's and foreclosures are on the way. This will be great for a few and financial death for many. I feel for you guys that have many "working" years ahead of you.

Yeah, if you own/drive a tow truck your gonna have work... Not exactly how you want to get it but work just the same....  Banks have always looked out for banks, no surprise there...  Not how the PPP was supposed to work but typical...

I would rather not have any of these programs,  just more future debt for our country which negatively impacts out economy long term...

Should have let the banks & auto industry fail back in 08... I know it's harsh but like a bandaide if you take it off slowly, the pain lasts a long time. If you rip it off, the pain is short and intense, but it's over quickly.

We got our little $2400 check but my friend in Pa who owns a restaurant got $187,000 for his business and his son got $71,000 for his business. So yea..I know people.

Wow, that's a lot of dough for a restaurant.  I'm surprised to hear that.  Any other details you can share?

the economic stimulus package will be a joke.  I applied, but nothing. Just silence. 
the ppp will also be a joke.  I applied and again don't expect anything. 
I don't really want any of the money, but i justify it with paying 33% of my  money for well over 20 years to take care of roads, government paychecks and dead beats.  So I applied.  but I don't expect to get anything.
