the model was powered by a WWI Mercedes aircraft engine - the "show car" looks to be Pontiac OHC6 powered

Mercedes makes sense , , but I still remmeber the pipes off the right side

close, but the bottom corners don't look quite the same (cut?) - the Deora used a '59 Ford station wagon tailgate
