Although most days I look into the mirror and wonder who that old dude staring back at me in the mirror is!  In my mind I feel 20!

Most women would not opt to answer that  :stop:....However I don't mind. I was always considered part of Gen X.    :ohyeah:

However I do feel older and weary at times but that is simply cuz I think of myself as hopelessly "old school" caught up in a society that is too far gone too far off the beaten path with everything and how they handle it.  :soshelp:

And your 60's, but the old proverb of "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" will take on more meaning for you. My attitude has always been- "you can have another birthday- or don't" and the latter pretty much means the party's over lads. Happy Birthday!
In the immortal words of Jimmy Scott- "pace yourself!"

Old enough to remember when Jethro Tull had a top 40 song called "Too old to Rock and Roll, too young to Die".
I think of that song a lot in recent times, as I'm old enough that most of my dreams are getting smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror.  The exciting cool career, hot babes on each arm etc.  But too young to collect social security, get Medicare, collect a little pension from a place I worked years ago.  Still dragging myself out of bed every day to go to work, but no longer any expectations it's to pay for a great future.
Oh well, at the rate the years are flying by, I'll be collecting social security and that pension in no time!  Yay!  :looney:
Shoot just remembered I keep reading Social Security will run out of money shortly after I am eligible to collect. Dammit!
