Once the fire got in the attic it took off. Did they determine the origin yet. Former volunteer firefighter, Interior attack.   :alan2cents:

No details yet, on origin, but have an idea. I'll find out more tonight. Also lost 4 cars.... 19 twin turbo Stinger , F150, Highlander, and his old Delta 88 convert

The only thing that matters is every one got out!!!!! The rest can be dealt with later.

Very sad to see . . Looks like a total loss.  Hopefully he had a lot of insurance . . Prayers to them!

Wow! That sux!
Hopefully insured well, though there are things that insurance can't fix.

Talked w my brother tonight. The first thing he said was "I should be dead but I'm not". A leaky propane tank in the garage. Very long story short - he was awake as things were progressing. But was unaware there was fire. If he would have opened the door out to the garage the backdraft / following explosion would have thrown him into the next county. Granted this is a very condensed version of the story. I dont know how I would have told my dad if something went deadly.    https://www.wisn.com/article/explosion-fire-destroy-franklin-home/32366468

When i saw the pictures i said to my self, That fire originated in the garage. Your brother was lucky he didn't open the door.
