Man, what is up with some of the Facebook Mopar groups?

Has anyone been noticing the takeover going on with political posts on some of the other Mopar Facebook groups lately, or is it just my luck?
I'm guessing there are some admins duct taped and gagged in closets.

I've been avoiding anything political right now.  The guys running the E-Bodies.org facebook group do a good job of keeping it to a minimum.  :bravo:

But other facebook groups are all over the place.

I've opted out of notifications on so many Mopar groups that Facebook doesn't know what to show me anymore!
Luckily, the admins on the e-body.org group do a great job, there was an attack earlier in the week and it was quickly taken care of!

I haven't witnessed it on our page but if I do . . My delete button will be used . . Hopefully I won't have to!   :bigthumb:

The reason I belong to this forum & not groups like that is the lack of drama & politics. Everybody's here to learn & share about our common interest in E-bodies. I belong to other forums too, but I only share my ongoing builds & updates here.

I couldn't agree more with all above comments.  I really appreciate the lack of it all in all things e-body org.  Way too much to learn here to be distracted.

I am a member of many Mopar Groups on Facebook. Most all are politic free. Some groups were formed for the reason to be political and Mopar. A friend of mine actually started a page that features Mopars and Politics so I see nothing wrong with that at all. If it is not your bag than do not follow it. There are probably close to or over 100 Mopar only groups on Facebook so I am sure there is something for everybody.  Here in the US we take politics pretty serious because it affects our lives and our cars. Just look at what Calif has done to car owners..They have more restrictions than there are fish in the oceans. I have no problem talking politics and I have no problem NOT talking politics if that is what the group rules are. I am 64 years old and never cared about politic at all until 2008 and I saw the damage being done in our country from corrupt politicians and it was affecting me personally.
Now I am very involved but that is just me. I do enjoy just talking cars without politic involved and that is why I am still a member here.

I know I'm in the minority but I can't stand looking at websites on my phone.  Even trying to navigate this site through Tapatalk on my phone makes me frustrated.  Give me an old school computer for web surfing any day.  That's why I like sites like this WAY more than Facebook.  The whole layout of it is dumb.  At least I can find an old post easily on this site.  If you touch the wrong button on Facebook, it reloads the page and something you were looking at is gone...good luck finding it again.  Yes I sound old.

I couldn't agree with you more.

Yeah my phone is for making calls . . I don't surf on it at all unless I really need to.  I don't even get email on my phone . . . The only ebody FB page I'm on is ours . . .

I also agree-phones are for calls. I even hate texting on it. Much rather used my laptop or desktop for web surfing.

@js27 I don't disagree with anything you've stated. Just thought it was a sudden explosion due possibly to recent events. Trust me, I sound off heavily on my FB wall. Actually most of what I was seeing was thumbs up quality for my personal taste, even though I don't put that stuff on someone else's group. I actually got a few chuckles from some of the replies I've seen to political posts on car sites. To reiterate, was just curious if others had been noticing it.

Yes, I've noticed it.  Pretty typical for an election year count down.
I recall seeing this just about every 4 years.
