    I so enjoyed getting to go hang out at the drag races in the mid 70's & 80's. Good times and happy memories.

Same here, I have great memories from Fremont drag strip. It was 3 miles as the crow flys away and many times you could hear them running especially the funny cars and dragsters. You could be right up on the starting line no big deal back then. It's all gone now.
