Edelbrock began moving some of its operations to a new facility in Olive Branch, Mississippi, beginning early in 2020. That new location will be the future headquarters of both Edelbrock and Comp Performance Group. Comp Cams is leaving its longtime home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Man, this is sad :/ I do their show every year and they are a bunch of great guys running the place.
Can't say I blame them though, California is getting tougher and tougher to afford!
Here is one of our cool videos of the 2016 show and showroom.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xf4qJdt-ZPE

I had the opportunity to meet Vic and Cami years ago during one of the Watkins Glen Vintage races and they were very nice people. Vic was racing the silver blue Vette and Cami the red Camaro and they just got down with everybody and had a ball. I'm not surprised to hear they're (Edelbrock) leaving Crazyfornia. The only way to show the socialists running Cali, that you mean (pun intended) business, is to hit them in the wallet. I'll bet there'll be a few happy faces in Mississippi in the near future. Good luck to them all!

One Mopar in Vic's garage:  1969 Super Bee A-12.  Awesome place though!

I toured the place a couple times. As I am in manufacturing, it was awsome to see.

Yes, further ramping up the Ca. exodus

And really who can blame them? CA is about as anti-business as you can get... I hear NY runs a close second. This place is losing businesses and people to other states in droves. About the only good thing you can say honestly about CA anymore is the weather is great.

Another reason why I don't believe this is ALL just a "California is miserable for business thing"....

#1) Edelbrock Corp does not own the land the main plant and HQ is on....it's still owned by the family

#2) Two other parcels with museum and manufacturing were sold by Edelbrock Corp (ISN) last April 2020 and Oct 2019 for.... $18.1M and 9.6M respectively. ... all public record BTW.

I'm thinking $29.7 million will buy you some property and buildings in Olive Branch Mississippi for everyone to be under one roof...

...and maybe leftover to pay down some debt too??? Or maybe down payment on another business???

Crazy. I was just watching a CNBC news piece on youtube highlighting the exodus from California. There has been something like 600 major businesses that have left in the last few years. A lot of focus is on Tech giants that are leaving but is sad, but expected, that the automotive industry is also leaving. California is very hard on our hobby. California used to be synonymous with cars and cruising. California used to be a music center and that has evaporated. The movie industry now creates most of it's shows and movies out of state and even country. Not sure legislators are really aware or care of the long term actions. Since all this revenue is leaving, the only option is going to raise more money to cover the loss. I expect taxes to go up even more. argh. Maybe I'll follow eddlebrock :)
