The car looks awesome either way. The blackwalls appear more period correct and clean. The RWLs make it more of a 70s muscle car, in my opinion... However, my vote would be to go for the redlines!

It's a sweet car in both pics.  I tend to prefer the white letter tires better though.   Whenever I see a car with black walls, i usually think "would be nicer with white letter tires" : )
