I've wanted to get some bees, but not sure how to keep them alive in winter?   :notsure:

I love collecting and restoring antique snowmobiles.
Wow, what a collection and I see "our" H2 in the distance it seems. I should send you a pic of my poor old El Tigre sitting beside the garage.

Nice! Do you own H2?  What year and do you have pics?

I used to be into F5D racing and have thought about getting back into it. Thank god my eyesight is great at distance but not so much up close. Its pretty tough because of the size of the aircraft and the speed means you have to fly ahead of your craft. Otherwise you will be throwing a ton of $$$ away on a crash.

I love hobbies & have had so many over the years... running, yoga, fly-fishing, nutrition, reading, learning, traveling, hiking, entertaining, needlework & volunteering- primarily with charities that help dogs. However, after reading about all your hobbies, I realize mine don't amount to anything physical & lasting. :haha: I mean just look at all those vintage snowmobiles & @Rev-It-Up 's table!! Way to go!!

These pics will have to do- my half-marathon medals & a before/after of a rottweiler we moved from a tiny & rough 'kennel' to a large & newly fenced yard, care of Fences for Fido!

Rev-It-Up

Jeni, you are amazing! Look at all those medals!!  :Thud: I'm the girl you see on the side of the road puking her guts out while running. I never could do it. I could spend an hour on the elliptical, but cannot run more than a mile without losing my stomach  :barf: I really look forward to meeting you at Carlisle!

The car has become my #1 hobby by far but we used to a lot of camping and canoeing. I've gone on a few 3 day dogsledding trips and one 5 day in the Yukon, 10 day canoe trip (that was the longest one of many), backpacking, winter camping (2*F, no tent was the coldest), backpacking. I haven't been out in few years but I'm determined to go again this year. I think it would be really cool to do a hike and then jump in the Challenger to head home but I'd never leave my car at the trailhead for 3 days.

I am glad there are exercise routines that work for both of us @Rev-It-Up:) I so look forward to meeting you too!  :handshake:

I think I just realized my one hobby that's endured the test of time... it's supporting @Cuda Cody in his hobbies!  :haha:

It's a 75, last of the Mohicans and it's dark green. It's also squirreled away in my garage's attic so I don't know if I can get much of a pic and I don't have any old ones I can find either. Bought it in 76 or 77 as a first bike- dumb move and it scared the bejeezus out of me a few times! LOL

Trading cards - Topps 1965 through 1975. Mostly Baseball, Football, non-sport from the same year range.

Growing up in Brooklyn, I'd walk with my Dad to the neighborhood candy store Sunday mornings. He'd get the Sunday Daily News and he'd buy me 10 to 15 packs of whatever I wanted, they were mostly 10 cents a pack back then so it was easily doable. Getting back to my room to open them and see if I got a Mantle, Mays, or any NY Mets player just made my week :wowzers: :wowzers:

Around the same time frame my older brother often took me to the City (Manhattan) for a day out with lunch and whatever movie I wanted to see (Yellow Submarine, Ice Station Zebra, 2001 A Space Odyssey, and others ) and on the way back I'd con him into the same deal, or maybe the latest Mad Magazine. I still have the complete run from 1967 - 1991 (Issue 300) except for less than 10 issues along with a smattering of older issues. A fair run of National Lampoon from 1972-1974 as well.

And of course the hobby that started my love of Mopars and Performance Cars in general - the whole slot car racing scene, HO scale :)  :)

Ah, I see in a minute or two I wrote a ton of stuff that most folks won't read.  Sorry for the long windedness.    I can talk for hours about vertebrate fossils.

I found it fascinating!
I read it to my wife, and she says that you're her new favorite car guy (after me of course  :) ).

That's insanely fast, yup heads up racing for sure. Used to do RC boat racing years ago. Not electric, but fuel up to 60% nitro depending which class.

Sounds like that is going to be a really cool project.  Please post up pictures when the project is coming along.  First I have heard of someone doing a jurassic movie look alike.     :bigthumb:

Thanks, we bought the Jeep back around Thanksgiving.
We're giving ourselves 6 months to round up parts, and then 1 year for tear down and restoration.
The goal is to have it done before Jurassic World 2 comes out in the summer of 2018.

@RusTy/SE  My brother and I collect cards for a long time.  Still have a bunch of them.  We used to go to all the Seattle games in the late 80's early 90's.  Mariners, Seahawks and Sonics.  We would get autographs and sometimes balls, bats, gloves and other neat things.  Ended up selling a lot of it to get in to a house.  Wish I still had some of the stuff I sold.  Great memories for sure.  I bet you treasure the memories with your dad as much or more then the cards.  Sounds like a great thing he did with you.

Yal can come out here any time and we can find you some dinosaur bones any month of the year.   or some crystals or some arrow heads or some ammonites or some etc. etc. etc.
I am quite used to being a tour guide.  I just spent 5 days being a tour guide for the customer of my current custom home.  He brought along 11 total people of which 6 were kids.  I get a break from building and get to take everyone out to do fun stuff.
