Going to the falls in June. I never been there and I guess there's a couple days there before I get bored. Anything in or close to the area with something to do?

Yes, for sure plan on coming to the Canadian side, otherwise you'll be disappointed  :canada:

We did this a few years ago and it was so much fun.

You can take an open boat or a covered one. You WILL NOT stay dry on an open boat. We went in August and the water temp wasn't bad. June it will be a little cool. I'm not sure if you can rent wetsuits, can't remember. Their newest boat at that time had three 600HP engines and it slaughtered humongous waves.

If you are into wine on the Canadian side there are some decent wineries to visit. I tend to stick to wineries that make wine that can cellar. I'd suggest Stratus.
Someday I will have a J0b.

I'm Canadian and will suggest, as mentioned, the wine areas within 10 miles of NF in Canada, as there's dozens of them now and Niagara-on-the-lake is a beautiful town within 3-4 miles of NF that has shopping and good hotels/theatre and food. Speaking of food, although it's not nearly a fancy joint, Goodfellows in downtown NF New York have excellent wings and Gagsters is across the parking lot and they also have wings and pizza. These are off Pine Street which is a main street in NF NY. Remember your passport and leave- or hide VERY well- any firearms as the customs guys have zero sense of humour accordingly. FYI. There's also a casino in the States and two in Canada- where your buck goes farther too! Have fun!
