 :stop:

Those are Sockeye Salmon.
Sockeye males turn to a Red body with a Green head later in their journey.

They don't really get too much bigger than those pictured.

Actually it's alot of work.
I must've done over 300 casts to get my limit of 3.

Nice, love that Alaskan sockeye salmon , about $20 a lb over here in Texas , a local friend is also in Alaska now salmon fishing.

Bullitt-

Just down stream from us in Guntersville last weekend

Use to love watching them but they just don't sound the same since all the Merlins are gone......

Tell him Chinook counts are drastically down this year.
Stick to Halibut, Sockeye, Trout and Black Rockfish.

did you fly yourself up there again or go commercial?

It was just over 100F here today and high humidity. Spent a few hours tinkering on the car when I hear a distant  rumble getting closer. Love it when Mopar buddies randomly show up!  :D The neighbours even came out and had a look!

Commercial.

VFR to AK from WA. is very dangerous.
Did it the last time and we will never do it again.

VFR (visual flight rating) from Montana area can be done, but it's too many extra miles.

Yup: A small plane went down an hour away from me in the rockies on Thursday. Two guys that were going fishing as well that never made it.

Love it, outside the box thinking/workmanship!  :bradsthumb:

RUNCHARGER

That is impressive. Sort of cool cars but not REALLY cool, that is a great thing to do with one and the workmanship looks outstanding.
